Both. Most of our work is for builders, general contractors, and architects who need stamped mechanical design, Title 24 compliance, and commissioning. We also work directly with homeowners, especially for HERS testing and energy questions on custom homes.
Our field service covers the Tahoe–Truckee–Reno and Eastern Sierra corridor. Engineering, Title 24, and commissioning documentation is delivered across all eight states we hold PE licenses in: California, Nevada, Hawaii, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Every engagement is scoped and quoted to the project. There's no flat price list, because a CF1R revision and a full commissioning program are very different efforts. Tell us the project and stage and we'll give you a clear quote.
Yes. Bender Engineering is licensed, bonded, and insured, with professional mechanical engineers licensed in eight western states and CalCERTS-certified HERS Raters on staff. PE license numbers are available on request.
